Hi, my little one

This is you from the future

It’s 2018 now,

Guess what?

You are twenty five,

And you are alive

Barely living

But learning how to standing on your own feet

You wouldn’t know that you could make it this far, would you?

Did you scream because you are terrified with how life might turned out to be, Love?

24 years ago you were just a baby

Crying (plus mumbling noises) is your only way out

Bet it was hard for mom and dad to understand

But, little did you know that right now you are still the same as ever, since you still don’t know how to express yourself well and only a few number of people could (and take their time to) understand you

You never clothed yourself with confidence

You never dared to put some bravery and courage on

But sure as heck, mom and dad have always showered you with love

They never told you this but everyone knows that you are their pride and hope

I know that you were not a dreamer

Maybe you were a firm believer that expectation might crushed you,

Or maybe you simply thought that you were not good enough and it wasn’t your right to dream of anything

God,

Why did you have to think like that

You thought so low of yourself

You thought that you didn’t stand a chance

But, you always have those pinch of hopes to keep your little feet going

Enough for you to wake up each morning,

Enough for you to finish your homework

and passed your exams

But,

Did you know that you ended up paving your own path,

With a small hope that lingers,

With dad’s conscience and your mother’s prayer

Do you feel proud with yourself yet?

I hope it’s enough for you to stand for yourself and give your best as the year passed by

I hope you don’t take it to heart,

those hurtful things people are saying

I hope you don’t let them angered you

I hope you still are not going to let love turns into hate

I hope you are not growing up to be someone you don’t want to be

I hope you could forgive everyone’s who did you wrong

But, most of all,

With the Power of the Higher above,

I hope you could forgive yourself

You are made from mistakes and failures,

You are allowed to do that

He allows you and everyone else

Never feel embarrassed by owning them

You are not supposed to be perfect anyway

(nobody does)

Don’t be scared to let anyone down,

There is only way up after that,

Okay? Okay.

My dear, try your best to

Live your life to the fullest

To not let regrets and doubts clouded your head

Keep in mind that you have nothing to lose,

Because that’s the best way for you to live in this lifetime
